Nussbaumer Health was founded by Kae Nussbaumer, BS, RDMS, RVT, a diagnostic medical sonographer and vascular technologist with more than 30 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound, vascular imaging, research, education and healthcare leadership.
Kae's career has included leadership at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she managed General and Vascular Ultrasound and participated in ultrasound and vascular research, including NASA ultrasound protocol development.
She later developed and taught advanced physician ultrasound education at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where the methodology she taught was recognized as “The Nussbaumer Method – The New Physical Exam with Ultrasound.”
Her clinical expertise spans abdominal and small-parts ultrasound as well as advanced vascular imaging, including carotid, arterial, venous, renal, mesenteric, aortic, fistula and graft evaluation.
